Ashvin Venkatesan

About Me
Hi, I'm Ashvin Venkatesan, a backend-focused software engineer from Northern Virginia. While I specialize in backend development, I've been fortunate enough to gain professional experience working with both frontend and backend elements allowing me to effectively contribute to full stack roles.
I spent the last 3 years full-time at Amazon but left in late December 2023. After taking a short break, I've been actively seeking new opportunities while also dedicating time to learning new skills and working on a few personal projects.
I'm currently developing a social media platform for shows that notifies your followers when you start or finish something, helping people stay more connected.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, playing video and board games with friends, pickleball, watching TV, anime, and movies, and spending time with my cat.
